Effectively, the Enterprise version from previous version is now Datacenter edition.
There is no more feature difference between Standard and the higher version (Datacenter) except for virtualization.
The major difference between Standard & Datacenter editions is that Standard can run 2 VMs per license per server, while Datacenter is unlimited. CALs are not included and must be added (Essentials edition includes 25 CALs).
Also note that licensing is per processor, so servers running Standard with 4 CPUs require 2 licenses (that’s 4 CPUs, not 4 cores).
